At our peaceful farm, a unique tiny home community provides transitional housing for 10 foster-youth. Each energy-efficient, solar powered tiny home accommodates 2 teens in comfort and style.
Within their private space, youth have:
§ Two bedrooms for privacy
§ A full kitchen to practice culinary skills
§ Bathroom with shower
§ Furnishings and décor to make it their own
The thoughtfully designed homes allow roommates to live cooperatively while having personal areas to retreat to. The compact footprints provide companionship.
Solar panels power lighting, appliances, and Wi-Fi for convenience without utility bills. Composting toilets conserve water while producing nutrient-rich fertilizer for our gardens.
Tiny living fosters resourcefulness, efficiency, and community. Our homes may be small, but they provide everything our youth need to feel safe, stable, and empowered during this transitional period.
Nestled in nature, yet connected to each other, residents have both independence and support. Youth gain practical life skills while residents of the farm, harvesting produce for meals, tending the gardens, and caring for animals.
Our tranquil, nurturing community complete with gazebo and grill, provides the stable foundation youth need to gain confidence, gather in the evening, and prepare for adulthood. We look forward to welcoming you home.
